Khadija is a determined food technologist with great academic background and years of working experience in research, processing, safety, Laboratory analysis for food quality control. She is an innovative person who is able to analyze critical problems and come up with logical solutions.
Khadija obtained Master’s in food Processing Engineering with Merit ME from Sheffield Hallam University, UK, and she also obtained Bachelor of Technology with Honors in Food Science and Technology from Kano State University of Science and Technology. She is a professional member Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), she is also a member of the Nigerian Institute of Food Science and Technology (NIFST). She attended many trainings and conferences with respect to her profession which include Institute of food science and technology Conference on “Innovations and upgrades for food value chain (October 2016) and another on “World class marketing: The place of food science and technology (October 2015). As a volunteer, Khadija participated in Engineering Extravaganza on STEM event day at AMRC to promote engineering to the next generation of budding young minds. In her profession line, Khadija worked as a researcher at National Center of Excellence for Food Engineering, UK. She also worked as a Scientific Officer at Raw Materials Research and Development council Abuja, and she gained experience working as a quality Control analyst at Northern Nigerian Flour Mills. Khadija is now the quality control analyst at Dantata Foods and Allied Products Ltd.
