Abdullahi is a seasoned administrator par excellence who rose to the position of Director Administration and General Services in Kano state civil service where he served for newly 30 years and occupied different posts across various government ministries, department and agencies including ministries of environment, works, housing and transport, rural and community development, commerce, industries and cooperative, state civil service commission and the Kano state government house. During his career, he has served in many ministerial and state committees as either chairman, secretary or member. Such committee include but not limited to Secretary SOD turning ceremony and commissioning of National Agricultural Land Development Authority (NADLA) Project at Katarkawa village in Warawa L.G.A in 1993. Secretary committee for the commissioning of 180 million liters per day Tambrawa water project 2005.
A graduate of a combined bachelor’s degree in History and Political Science and MSc. in Political Science from Bayero University Kano, Abdullahi joined the services of Nigeria Police Academy Wudil as a lecturer after retiring from Kano state civil service. He is currently a PhD. Candidate with research interest in politics of climate change and desertification for sustainable agriculture in Kano state, Nigeria. The chief of staff has received many commendations and is currently a fellow of the Nigerian Environmental Society, Kano state branch.
